The primary mission of our Library is to collect, organize, and disseminate information to serve students, faculty and other staff on roll of the college to meet their educational, professional and recreational needs. Being the central hub of the teaching learning process of the College, the library caters to the educational needs of the academic community.
The College Library was established in 1979 at the very inception of the Institution. The Library is well ventilated, lighted and aired to facilitate comfortable seating. The Library is fully computerized allowing functions like issue, return, OPAC search, and availability assessment of books, easy and user friendly. We have bar-coded our document collections.
Library follows open access system and the books are well stacked in accordance with International Dewey Decimal Classification System. Library Membership is offered to the current students and staff of the college.
Our college central library with an area of 670 sq.m has a collection of more than 20482 volumes covering the latest books in various branches of Engineering and related subjects and Basic Science. The library has a good collection of research publication in different areas of knowledge and many more. In addition to this, each department has an in-house library for project guidance and research work. Apart from the various engineering disciplines, the library has separate sections.
All students of the college are members of the Library. Students have free access to the books and back volumes of periodicals.
Internet Connectivity
To integrate information system technology into the present curriculum, the college is equipped with internet connectivity, connecting students to the world. The faculty and the students are allowed to surf the net free of cost. Internet Centre is equipped with the latest Software and Hardware Configuration which is required for the high quality service. Students can download various topics from Internet for their educational purpose. Students are not allowed to: Change Desktop settings, Play computer games and Chat Online.
